Are there animals present in the home?
How many hours a day will the puppy be alone?
What generation Doodle are you wanting to adopt?
F1, F1b, F2b, multi-gen, doesn’t really matter? Note: An F1 Doodle will typically shed some, although not as much as a full Retriever or full Bernese Mountain dog. Their coats generally consist of soft waves to loose curls. F1b Doodles are well known for their sometimes low, but most often non-shedding, hypo-allergenic qualities. Their soft coats generally consist of the medium curls to the tighter teddybear looking curls. F2b Doodles tend to have soft waves to looser curls and will shed even less than the F1, as they have just a little more poodle genetics in them than the F1. Most F2b’s will never shed at all in fact. The multi gens coats are most often the same as the F2b’s coats, although depending on genetics, we can sometimes get a curlier coat in the litter as well.
When will you be ready to welcome a Goldendoodle into your home? In the next 0-3 months, 4-6 months from now, a specific month or season?
